What it is

Sleep is a basic necessity of life that is essential for our health and well-being. A lack of sleep can have a negative impact on your mood, thinking, relationships, work performance and long-term health.

Millions of Americans suffer from sleep-related disorders. In fact, more than 25 percent of people experience a sleep disorder at some time in their life. Sleep disorders have been linked to high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, heart disease and stroke.

Sleep centers & sleep studies

Sleep studies are tests that evaluate your sleep. They are conducted to diagnosis conditions such as:

  • sleep apnea
  • snoring
  • narcolepsy
  • restless leg syndrome

Insomnia and Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program

Behavioral sleep medicine, also known as sleep psychology assesses and treats insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders and other sleep problems. This includes difficulty using CPAP therapy for sleep apnea.

Good for preventing

Common causes of sleep disorders include:

  • use of caffeine, decongestants or other stimulants
  • alcohol use
  • smoking
  • not taking the time to sleep
  • poor sleep habits
  • a neurological condition

Everyday On Wheels

Everyday On Wheels mobile clinic is not wheel chair accessible due to the size of the vehicle. Patients should be able to safely climb a short set of stairs to enter the mobile clinic.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time and have your mobile phone available for the provider to contact you when they are ready to see you.

We've changed how we provide some services with your care and safety in mind. Expanded virtual care services are available to schedule online. You can also call your clinic for help finding the best option.
