I am a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in obstetrics. I have professional interests in women's health, pediatric care and preventive care. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I'm passionate about: learning each patient's unique background and forming long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I believe this helps us work together toward each patient's personal health goals. Understanding the entire family and their support network can be especially helpful during stressful times in life.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be: work with children with and adults with disabilities. My uncle had cerebral palsy and was a very important person in my life. Additionally, I had the opportunity to manage a camp before medical school for this population. This was an immensely rewarding and challenging job, and I will always enjoy caring for persons with disabilities.
My favorite destination is: Stockholm, Sweden. I completed my last medical school rotation there and had a wonderful opportunity to practice medicine, explore a beautiful country and get to know some of my personal heritage.
Something I have learned from my patients is: their stories and sharing their with them, some of the most difficult moments in their lives, such as serious illness or death of a loved one; and the most amazing moments in their lives, such as a birth of a child. My life has been greatly enriched by sharing in celebrations and milestones, mourning loss, and tackling challenges of life with my patients. These lessons from my patients have made me a better physician, parent, wife, community member and person.
