What is your practice philosophy? I strive to meet each person where they are at and learn their story. By partnering with and empowering individuals and families, I aim to help identify root causes of symptoms. I believe in the power of utilizing food as medicine and focusing on lifestyle and environmental factors. Beginning with the least invasive interventions, I help create personalized care plans that support optimal health and healing.   

What are you passionate about? And why? Making integrative and holistic care accessible for all, so that every person can feel supported in their wellness journey.  

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: A tea barista serving in a café with relaxed music, a variety of books, and good conversation. If I could say another, I would choose to be a doula to support people during the remarkable and transformative experience of birth.  

Something I have learned from my patients is: People are empowered when there is a mutual understanding with their wellness support team about what matters most to them. It is a great privilege to understand personal goals and encourage each person along the way.  

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Restoring balance in the body can be a dynamic process. It takes time for symptoms and chronic conditions to develop, and it takes time to heal. I enjoy helping patients make small changes that are sustainable and meaningful.  

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Getting out in the great outdoors! Before I met my husband, my version of camping was a tent in the backyard. He introduced me to the world of backpacking, and we now find ways to incorporate getting out into nature as much as we can. It truly is invigorating and healing for my mind, body, and soul.  

What are you most proud of? My family. I love to see the ways we shape each other and grow through the thick and thin.
