What is your practice philosophy? To understand and address patient health concerns through education, health, promotion, and collaboration.
If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Personal trainer to improve the health of others.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? While working as a staff nurse in the hospital, I wanted to do more to prevent illness before it happens instead of after illness occurs. Working in the primary care clinic allows me to promote healthy lifestyles.
Something I have learned from my patients is: Health care needs to be tailored to the individual because we are all unique.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): The challenge of healthcare that I enjoy is the complexity of the human body and how all the health care systems interact which is why I wanted to practice in Internal Medicine..
My personal heath goal is: To stay physically active at all times.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the bet health advice you've received? The best thing I have done for my health is exercise regularly.
What are you most proud of? Traveling the country to help fight the Covid pandemic.
