What is your practice philosophy? Develop trusting relationship with patients to help empower them so they can gain greater control over decisions and actions affecting their health.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I had sustained thermal burns to half of my body when I was 8 years old. The healthcare team were phenomenal, which left a lasting impression on me. This was when I knew I wanted to be in healthcare.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I love meeting new people and learning about their culture and belief.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? I attended Zumba classes at the Gym, but stopped due to Covid Pandemic. My Zumba friends decided to get together on Zoom. We have been meeting 4-5 times per week since March 2020, pushing each other to stay active. This has definitely helped me physically and emotionally.
What are you most proud of? My biggest pride are my children who are now in their 20s.
