Outpatient procedures

United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus specializes in endoscopy procedures for gastrointestinal complications and disorders, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies. Registered patients are sent a reminder several months before they are due for routine screenings. 

Services

  • Flexible sigmoidoscopies
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies
  • Upper endoscopies (EGD’s) for throat and stomach disorders that may be related to heartburn, acid reflux, stomach pain, ulcers or hiatal hernias
  • EGDs are also performed for various conditions related to difficulty swallowing food, upper GI bleeding, and anemia 

Endoscopic procedures

We also offer additional services including administering IV therapies, transfusions of blood products, therapeutic phlebotomies, accessing central lines for lab draws, catheter maintenance and flushes.

Medical-surgical care unit

Hastings Regina’s Medical/Surgical department is designed as a healing environment with its soothing, natural color scheme and quiet ambiance. Most rooms overlook the beautiful Mississippi river bluffs with scenic open fields . Our unit is a place where privacy is respected and external noise and sound are minimized.

Special Care Unit (SCU)

Our 5-bed Special Care Unit provides services to patients with conditions that need a higher level of care and require close observation, frequent assessment, cardiac monitoring and highly skilled medical intervention.

Allina Health Everyday Clinic

This is a retail clinic location. We offer basic services for minor injuries and illnesses for patients 18 months and older. We do not see visits for workers' or injury compensation.

Everyday On Wheels

Everyday On Wheels mobile clinic is not wheel chair accessible due to the size of the vehicle. Patients should be able to safely climb a short set of stairs to enter the mobile clinic.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time and have your mobile phone available for the provider to contact you when they are ready to see you.
