Rehabilitation psychology services at Allina Health
Our rehabilitation psychologists specialize in working with individuals with chronic health conditions and/or disabilities and offer:
- diagnostic assessments to better identify mental health concerns and how mental health can impact health (and vice versa)
- treatment plans to establish care, identify goals, and work towards improved quality of life
- ongoing psychotherapy to help resolve negative experiences, adopt healthy behaviors, cope, adapt, and adjust to current issues connecting with their chronic health condition and/or disability, and communicate better
- personality and/or emotional assessments to determine your coping methods, emotional state, and personality style
- coordination of care across various providers (e.g., primary care, psychiatry, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology)
