I am a board-certified pediatrician with professional interests in premature infant care, childhood nutrition, obesity prevention and childhood asthma. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

If I wasn't a doctor, I would be: an elementary school teacher. I love to teach and find joy in helping children discover the world around them.
Something I have learned from my patients is: the power in a positive attitude and how to find joy in the little things.
One of the challenges of my career that I enjoy is: that children aren’t always able to express themselves, so communication often requires creativity, and earning a child’s trust makes the challenge more than worth it!
The best thing I've done for my health is: to start each day with a workout to put my body and mind in a positive place.
I am most proud of: my family, and specifically the challenges overcome by my own extremely premature son.
A few of my personal achievements include: running a 200 mile relay in the Rocky Mountains, and completing a full marathon and several half marathons.
Practice philosophy: Every child is unique. My role is to partner with my patient, and his or her family, and support system to optimize health. As a team, we create a plan that is individualized to the unique characteristics and circumstances surrounding each child.
