Pilates Reformer Training

Pilates reformer training will strengthen and lengthen your muscles, helping you create a foundation that supports your fitness goals. Whether you’re looking to maintain a healthy weight, increase your physical activity, build and tone your muscles, increase your stability or manage pain, this training is designed to help.
What it is
Pilates reformer training uses gentle resistance created by a device called a reformer. The low-impact exercise allows you to work all your muscle groups or target specific areas.

What to expect
You won’t be alone for your Pilates reformer training sessions. A trainer will be there to:
- learn about your goals and physical concerns
- teach you how to use the reformer and what exercises are best for you
This will take about an hour.
Wearing loose-fitting clothes will help you feel comfortable as you exercise on the reformer.
At the LiveWell Fitness Center, you’ll need to start with a beginner’s package.
- This includes a 60-minute assessment and three 30-minute follow-up sessions for $185.
Good to know
Exercises can be modified for most exercise levels and physical limitations.
