What it is

Pilates reformer training uses gentle resistance created by a device called a reformer. The low-impact exercise allows you to work all your muscle groups or target specific areas.

What to expect

You won’t be alone for your Pilates reformer training sessions. A trainer will be there to:

  • learn about your goals and physical concerns
  • teach you how to use the reformer and what exercises are best for you

This will take about an hour.

Wearing loose-fitting clothes will help you feel comfortable as you exercise on the reformer.

At the LiveWell Fitness Center, you’ll need to start with a beginner’s package.

  • This includes a 60-minute assessment and three 30-minute follow-up sessions for $185.

Good to know

Exercises can be modified for most exercise levels and physical limitations.
