I am a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. My professional interests include bone densitometry, international health, preventive health and adolescent health.
Home country: Yugoslavia
Best part of my work: The satisfaction of helping someone through a difficult illness and the honor of being trusted to provide advice.
Why I became a physician: A desire to help others and to always be challenged.
What I tell my friends and family: It is great to be healthy. When you are healthy, you are happy. Keep working on it: eat healthy, sleep well, exercise, get immunized. Get screened to stay healthy.
How I spend my free time: Reading, cooking, traveling, and Facetiming with my sister (she lives in Sweden).
What patients say about me: Professional and friendly.
Favorite health tip: It is never too late to begin a healthy lifestyle. According to some experts, breaking bad health habits can significantly reduce your risks of cancer (60%), heart attacks (80%) and other diseases.
Practice philosophy: I believe that the cornerstone of good medicine is a trustworthy doctor-patient relationship. My goal is to provide the best possible care to all my patients.
