What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about providing my patients the best care possible through evidence-based medicine with a focus on their individual values and needs. Additionally, I work to stay educated on the latest surgical technologies and practice guidelines.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A researcher. I worked in this field for a number of years before attending medical school.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I first became interested in medicine and science as a kid after undergoing surgery. I knew OBGYN was for me during medical school as it is the perfect blend of surgery and medicine.
What is something you have learned from your patients? To get to know the patient and not just the problem they present with as you can learn so much from the person sitting in front of you.
What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my family. I am married to a pediatrician and we have four wonderful children.
What are a few of your personal achievements? I was an active duty officer in the US Army for 8 years.

Dr. Thompson looked at complete history of care and made recommendations based on that information. We adjusted the appointment accordingly. Wait time for appointment was disappointing.
Because I feel like a solution wasn't made I went for help and haven't gotten anything to help. Also no call back about future appointments
