What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about prevention of disease through healthy lifestyle choices and early detection.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? I could not imagine doing anything else!
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I started my career as an RN almost 20 years and truly enjoy learning. Becoming a provider allowed me to learn more and help patients in a different way.
What is something you have learned from your patients? I have learned many things from patients through the years but most important has been to find joy in simple things.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy problem solving with my patients and other members of the healthcare team to get to the best possible outcomes.
What is your personal health goal? To be as healthy as possible
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I have developed a love of cooking and have learning to incorporate more natural ingredients. I enjoy growing some of my own foods!
