What are you passionate about and why? I strive to help all patient become their own health advocates. To do that requires us, as healthcare providers, to spend the necessary time to explain their diagnosis and treatment options in detail, so that patients can fully participate in their treatment, recovery and rehabilitation.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Owner of an animal rescue
What is something you have learned from your patients? At the end of the day, patients just want to feel heard. It is our is responsibility as providers to take the time to LISTEN, which will foster a better patient-provider relationship.
What is your personal health goal? Hike Grand Canyon rim-to-rim
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Exercise should never be punishment. Move your body in a way that makes you happy, and you'll be surprised at how easily it becomes a part of your routine.
What are you most proud of? My daughter! She's the best part of my whole life :)
