Practice philosophy: My practice philosophy is to provide patient-centered care and to meet my patients where they are. I strive to educate and collaborate with my patients to help them make informed decisions and achieve their health-related goals.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I developed an interest in health and medicine at a young age. In college I spent time shadowing various healthcare professionals, and PA was the path that fit my interests and goals best.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Medicine is constantly evolving, and the learning never stops. Working in medicine allows me to be a life-long learner and there is always something exciting or new to keep me on my toes.
What is your personal health goal? Maintain my strength and mobility in order to continue doing the things I enjoy.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? To prioritize daily movement - whether it is a walk, run, bike ride, yoga, or other form of exercise - movement is truly the best thing for our overall physical and mental health.
