What is your practice philosophy? My practice philosophy is to educate and treat individuals underlying problems as well as symptoms while building a health foundation for the future of each of my patients. 

What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about spending time with family and friends because time and experiences are precious. 

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Interior designer because I love to decorate my home with each season. 

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a provider because I love to help and interact with people.  I knew I wanted to be in the healthcare field at a young age.  I am intrigued by how the body works and how no one person is the same.  I also love that I get build relationships with people throughout my work. 

Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned that you can gain a lot of knowledge by listening to each patients’ stories. 

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): I enjoy the challenge of continued learning in this career as healthcare is ever evolving.  I also love that I get to teach and educate people on how better to care for themselves. 

My personal health goal is: My personal health goal is to increase my activity and strength through increasing movement throughout my week. 

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? The best health advice I have received was that even if you can get activity in for only 20 minutes it is still activity and working towards your goal. 

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my family.  I have seen my kids and husband both meet and exceed their personal goals in life and they continue to strive to be better.
