I'm passionate about: building relationships with my patients and giving back, because I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of others.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: wedding planner. I thoroughly enjoyed planning my own wedding, and it's such a happy time in everyone's lives.
I became a physician assistant to: educate patients and help them become more involved in their own health care. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in medicine when I was young; my grandma was sick and I became interested in medicine and how the body works.
Something I've learned from my patients is: they will always tell you what's wrong, but it's my job to really listen and ask the right questions to find solutions.
I enjoy: talking with my diabetic patients about proper diet and nutrition because I know how challenging eating habits can be.
My personal health goal is: to run a half marathon.
The best thing I've done for my health is: to stay active and try to exercise daily; it's a great way to clear my head.
I'm most proud of: my family. They've been my biggest role models and exemplifying what it means to overcome adversity.
A personal achievement I'm proud of is: earning a scholarship to play Division 2 soccer.
