I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I am passionate about: connecting with my patients in order to best help them. It is only when we take a collaborative approach and make decisions together that we find the creative solutions necessary for achieving and maintaining health.
Something I have learned from my patients is: the importance of context and humility. You can know all the science or medicine in the world, but if you do not understand the patient's context or where they are coming from, then you will struggle to engage with your patient and provide the best care possible.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: continually learning on the job; every patient is my teacher, and there is always more to learn!
The best thing I have done for my health is: to stop drinking sugary beverages and drink plenty of water every day. Staying hydrated has countless benefits including keeping you energized and performing at your highest level.
If I wasn't a physician, I would be a: paleontologist! Dinosaurs remain my first childhood love, although the older I get the less appealing scratching around in rock looking for fossils sounds!
