I am a board-certified adult-gerontological nurse practitioner, and have professional interests in preventive care, cardiology, gerontology and patients 18 and older. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I’m passionate about: exercising and staying active. It’s a great stress reliever that can involve your friends, family and pets.
Most people don’t know that: I’ve traveled to four different continents - I love to travel!
If I wasn’t a provider, I would: spend my time rescuing dogs. I am a dog-lover who loves to see the less fortunate dogs go into great homes.
I knew I wanted to become a nurse practitioner: after caring for my ill father. I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and education in order to better my patients’ health and quality of life.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that each patient has a story; take time to be present and hear that story to establish a trusted relationship.
My personal health goal is: to take the time to stay active and eat healthy despite the busy American lifestyle.
The best advice I’ve received is: to shop the perimeter of the grocery store.
A few of my personal achievements include: running the Twin Cities Marathon, completing graduate school all while working as a nurse and planning my wedding.
