Sandra L. Denman, MD

I completed my undergraduate work in psychology and biology at Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee. I continued my education in a clinical nutrition fellowship program at the University of Alabama, Birmingham and obtained an Masters of Science degree in clinical nutrition.

I received my medical degree in 1988 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Brown University affiliated hospitals in Providence, Rhode Island. My fellowship in Gastroenterology was earned at the same institution. I am board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. I hold memberships in The American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. I work part time with Minnesota Gastroenterology.
