Why I became a physician: I wanted a challenging job involving working with young people and science.
What I tell my friends and family: Anytime is a good time to eat good food. Don't get stuck on mandatory eating routines. Always wear a bike helmet and be sure your kids learn to swim at a young age. Read, read, read from day one of life.
How I spend my free time: Biking, music, making my kids' lives as rewarding and active as possible.
What patients say about me: Perhaps the best compliment is when I'm told that a sibling was mad that they could not come with their brother's/sister's visit to see me.
Favorite health tip: Eat well and play hard. Anytime is a good time to feed your kids healthy foods.
