Irfan K. Sandozi, MD

I completed my medical training in 1988 from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. I subsequently joined graduate school and received my Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1991. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine from Northwestern University affiliate St. Joseph Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, in 1994. Later, while practicing in the Twin Cities, I was active in conducting clinical research in collaboration with the Gastroenterology Department at the Minneapolis Veterans Hospital. I trained at the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2000.

I am a Board Certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Since my graduation from medical school, I have been involved with patient care along with research. I have presented my research work at national meetings in the U.S. and Canada, and have also published the same.

I am married with four children. I enjoy traveling and attending cultural events. My hobbies include tennis, reading, swimming, and jogging.
