Practice philosophy: My practice involves approaching each patient with compassion and kindness. I conduct a thorough review of a patient’s history and analyze neuropsychological test results carefully and with a scientific mindset. When delivering results to patients, I strive to make my recommendations as tailored as possible and to directly address the patient’s questions and concerns.

What are you passionate about and why? I love helping patients and their families better understand their cognitive functioning and providing recommendations that will help address their concerns, so that they can live their best lives.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? A musician, if I could earn a living!

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I became a neuropsychologist because I am interested in understanding and helping people using scientific knowledge.

What is something you have learned from your patients? I find a lot of inspiration in seeing patients cope with difficult circumstances.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? It can be hard to deliver difficult news, but it is also one of the most rewarding parts of my career, because I can help patients adapt to their diagnosis and continue living meaningfully.

What is your personal health goal? Finding meaning, purpose, joy, and connection in my life while being physically healthy.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I've found the best thing I can do for my physical and mental health involves some combination of eating well, exercising, helping people, and spending time with my friends and family.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my relationships, both with my patients and with my friends and family.
