Natbe typical for a first psych appointment but never have I had an hour long conversation with a doctor before- I was impressed
knowledge, kindness ,compassion
Customer service customer care
Dr. Hersey demonstrated Compassion and truly listens.
He listened and was easy to talk with
Hersey is ok. I don't like the fact that he's so dramatic about how I could die from additional clonazepam (15 add'l tablets as needed), because of my extreme anxiety. To be fair, he did prescribe some add'l clonazepam for me, but in a disintegrating form at a very small dosage. There is some consolation in going through the motions. I have explained various things to him, but I don't get the feeling he's listening or responding very intently. He's not good at assuring what he heard is what I meant... so that we're on the same page... or if that matters. Also, I don't think we're collaborating... it very much feels like it's his way or the highway and I am not comfortable with that. I would like to be referred to a different psychiatrist.
The doctor made me feel at ease and that he was interested in what I had to say.
Dr H. was a great listener. I didn't feel any judgement from him. It felt more like talking to a friend than a psychiatrist.
Consistent good care
First meeting was good, but too early to tell if it's a good fit
