Practice philosophy: It is my hope to build a relationship with my patients built on trust and honestly. Based on that, work towards ongoing health goals and wellness.

What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about offering choices to my patients. Patients can then make a decision that feels right for them, based on their unique background and preferences.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? An author.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I was hospitalized briefly for an appendectomy as a child. I felt so well cared for by the nursing staff, it impacted me for years to come. I hoped to make others feel the same as a nurse one day.

What is something you have learned from your patients? Be still and listen.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Change is constant-- but I love to learn and understand how we can better care for our patients.

What is your personal health goal? To spend more time in nature, even in cold winter months.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Learning how to cook and meal planning has made it much easier to eat a balanced diet and experiment with new foods/flavors.
