What are you passionate about and why?  I am passionate about continuing to improve as a surgeon, father and husband.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be?  Wildlife Biologist

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you?  I began working as a Patient Care Assistant after college and enjoyed patient care, which prompted me to apply to medical school.

What is something you have learned from your patients?  I have learned the importance of fostering communication and connecting with each patient. This helps me understand their perspective and enhances patient/provider relationships.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why?  Each patient and surgery are different which pushes me to continue to learn and improve to provide the best care for my patients.

What is your personal health goal?  I have a goal of completing a Triathlon.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received?  Spend as much time outside as possible.

What are you most proud of?  My family.

What are a few of your personal achievements?  Raising two smart and kind children.
