What are you passionate about and why? I want to understand how your lung disease affects your health and what is important to you. I want you to understand your condition and how we treat it. I strive to use best medicine and evidence-based practice.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Teacher/ faculty.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I knew I wanted to work in healthcare in high school but wanted a career in non-patient care. Eventually, I became an RN and then an advanced practice nurse as I wanted to do more professionally.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Everyone is a unique individual and has different desires, needs and wants. Mostly we need to listen.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Medicine is ever changing and evolving. I enjoy learning and growing my practice.
What is your personal health goal? Healthy snacks and drinking more water.
What are you most proud of? Working on being a world traveler and learning more about other people and cultures in a new place.
