Practice philosophy: I take care of patients that are in a time of need after an accident or injury. I believe that compassion, empathy, and clear communication are an essential part of caring for my patients. I always attempt to educate my patients and involve them in the decision making process regarding their care.
What are you passionate about and why? I am passionate about orthopedic trauma, family, and exploring nature. I love to spend time backpacking, cycling, and running with my friends and family. I grew up playing soccer and continue to play in order to keep a healthy body and mind.
What is something you have learned from your patients? Throughout the years my patients always remind me of the resilience of the human body and mind. I've learned the great importance a strong mindset can have during a period of recovery.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? The journey to recovery after a traumatic event can be challenging. I enjoy working with my patients to conquer obstacles and seeing them return to their daily lives.
