Practice philosophy: Being a member of someone's healthcare team is a privilege. My goal is to listen, support, encourage, and be present for those who are working hard to better their physical and emotional well-being.
What are you passionate about and why?
Everyone has the right to be treated with kindness, respect, and dignity and as healthcare professionals our role is to assist in the well-being of others by supporting their self-determination, advocacy, and values.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you?
To support those impacted by cancer so that they can feel heard, encouraged, and validated. Being a part of watching someone find hope, make progress or meet their goal is truly amazing.
What is something you have learned from your patients?
What it means to have strength, hope, and courage.
What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received?
Be active, spend time in nature, meet new people, use sunscreen, drink water, listen to music, own a dog or 2, and spend time with those you care about.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud to be a part of a patient's health care team and support them during their cancer diagnosis.
