What is your practice philosophy? I believe in creating a non-judgmental, genuine therapy experience focusing on increased quality of life for people with disabilities (e.g. physical, cognitive, and psychological disabilities).
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about making concepts and situations tangible for my clients. Disabilities and mental health conditions are often "invisible," so helping clients understand the mind and body is valuable.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: Professor; I love teaching and providing guidance and support to college students who are learning about themselves, others, and their futures.
Something I have learned from my patients is: Everyone's story is unique! Approaching therapy with this in mind creates and fosters an approachable, empowering environment as well as guides me to create individualized treatment experiences.
What is the best thing you've done for your health? Switch up the routine! Keeping life interesting and trying new things is both satisfying and makes life fresh.
