What are you passionate about? And why? Forming and maintaining relationships with people—It’s what we’re made for!

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Historian.  I am fascinated by history and geography, and how these topics intersect with the natural world, including humans.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I’ve always enjoyed biology, then started studying human anatomy in high school.  From a young age, I also felt warmth and comfort from my family practice clinic.  I felt clinical practice would be a great option for my interests and values.

Something I have learned from my patients is: Every patient has a unique history, an individual approach, understanding, knowledge, experiences and preferences relating to their care.

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why):  There is an unlimited assortment of medical issues/concerns and how these manifest.  This offers tremendous variety and also inherent challenges in day-to-day practice.

My personal health goal is: More regular weight-resistance training every week

What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? Working to eliminate sugars and processed foods, transitioning to a whole foods, plant-based diet.

What are you most proud of? Completing my education and working for the past 4 years as a medical provider.

What are a few of your personal achievements? Getting married, paying off debt, buying my first home and a new baby on the way May 2021.
