What is your practice philosophy? I find myself utilizing a variety of treatment modalities to best fit my patient’s individual needs. Although, I often use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, I also value therapeutic approaches that are skill-based and person-centered. I also like to incorporate mindfulness-based techniques with patients. My overall approach is to support patients in being able to promote personal growth and desired change.
What are you passionate about? And why? I am passionate about connecting with others. I thrive on human connection and am my best self when I feel connected to others.
Something I have learned from my patients is: I have learned from my patients how truly resilient we can be. It always amazes me how patients can persevere in the most difficult situations.
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? I find time everyday to be outside, or in the sun for at least 10 minutes. Our environment has a way of healing.
What are you most proud of? Completing college, graduate school and obtaining my license to practice psychology.
