Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you?
I initially wanted to be a doctor but decided to become a nurse after caring for my grandmother while on hospice and appreciating being at the bedside. Becoming a NP was the best of both worlds.

What is something you have learned from your patients? I've learned never to assume. It's so important to ask questions as we are all so different and each have varying hopes and fears that will uniquely guide our path moving forward.

What is your personal health goal? I'd like to complete a full marathon - all 26.2 miles of it!

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Health is not how you look but how you feel - mind, body, and soul. Nourish your body with foods that bless you, move your body every day, and focus on healthy relationships with those around you.

What are you most proud of ? I'm proud to have found a career that is fulfilling and meaningful. I feel so honored to be able to care for patients and their families during some of their most vulnerable times and hope to bring comfort and peace to those who are at the end of their life.
