What is your practice philosophy? Patients deserve to understand the current state of their health and what actions they can take to improve their health. I strive to build trust and open communication with my patients to help meet their health goals.   

What are you passionate about? And why? The power of preventative care! We can save lives with vaccines, cancer screenings and lab tests which are all accessible through primary care.   

If I wasn’t a provider, I would be a: Work in public health policy. The impact that policies have on our collective health greatly influence the issues I see in clinic.      

Something I have learned from my patients is: That every patient comes into clinic with different worries, goals and approach toward health. I find it rewarding to address their concerns and help them take action on improving their health.  

One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is (and why): Getting to the underlying reason why a patient may be hesitant to start a new medication or receive a vaccine. Addressing these concerns is vital to having the patient make an informed decision on their health. 

My personal health goal is: I'm sticking to the basics: eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water and excercise daily.
