I am passionate about giving a woman choices in their health care as well as in their pregnancy and birth experience. I'm passionate about the practice I am part of because we strive to deliver (pun intended) a midwifery model that empowers women and gives them an ability to make informed decisions.
If I wasn't a midwife, I would be an employee at Home Depot because I love home improvement projects, painting and just tools in general.
My favorite destination is British Columbia. I spent six years of my childhood living there; there is nothing like the vast views of mountains and ocean.
Something I have learned from my patients is: there are many types of families and I sincerely enjoy learning what brought people together, seeing how they support each other, witnessing how a new addition is welcomed. I'm honestly blessed by what I get to do every day!
My personal fitness goal is: to swim the ten miles of Havasu Creek to the Grand Canyon.
The best thing I have done for my health is: used a variety of alternative and complimentary therapies and I'm open to recommending them to my patients.
