Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I enjoyed looking at medical books in the doctor's office when I was a child. I enjoy a career that involves both science and personal communication skills.
Something I have learned from my patients is: that there are lot of different ways to approach a problem and listening is usually the best first step with any diagnosis.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy when a solution I or medication I have presented results in an improvement in quality of life for my patients.
What is your personal health goal? To continue to exercise and enjoy new challenges.
What is the best thing you've done for your health? I lost 40 lb in 2016 and have kept it off since. I started sustainable habits and changed my life.
I am most proud of: writing a children's picture book (Magnus the Naughty Dog Steals Lunch) that was published by a local firm this year. I have completed 5 marathons. My three daughters.
