I am a board-certified physician assistant, specializing in family medicine. My professional interests include preventive medicine, adolescent health and women's health. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
Hometown: Hastings, MN
Best part of my work: Making a personal connection with each patient and encouraging them to remain healthy or to strive to improve their health.
Why I became a physician assistant: I've always enjoyed studying sciences and am also a "people person", so this career is a perfect fit.
What I tell my friends and family: Keeping up with recommended preventive care is one of the most important things you can do for yourself.
How I spend my free time: Keeping up with my children's activities, reading, cooking, shopping, volunteering at my church, entertaining family and friends.
What patients say about me: They appreciate my positive attitude and that I am good at explaining aspects of their health and medical conditions in a way they can understand.
Favorite health tip: Finding time for yourself is necessary for maintaining a healthy balance.
Practice philosophy: I am there to guide and give advice, but the patient is the one in charge of their overall health.
