Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I initially worked as a L & D nurse for 8 years. I became a provider to expand on my knowledge and ability to care for women. I love having the ability to see women throughout their pregnancy now.
What is something you have learned from your patients? It’s important to listen and learn from them, in order to understand their concerns, priorities and to develop a realistic care plan.
What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Healthcare is forever changing and challenges one to have continual growth throughout their career.
