What is your practice philosophy? I strongly believe in providing women with information to empower them to take control of their own health and the health of their pregnancy.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I was raised in a physician household and spent lots of afterschool time at the hospital as a kid. I fell in love with Obstetrics as a 3rd year medical student and never considered anything else after that.
Something I have learned from my patients is: When you are in a tough situation, break it down into three things that are positive and three things that are difficult in order to figure out what the next step should be.
My personal health goal is: I should eat less dessert, but I have such as sweet tooth!
What is the best thing you’ve done for your health or the best health advice you’ve received? When I was pregnant with my daughter, I would get off at an earlier train stop and walk to work to make sure I got some exercise
What are you most proud of? My baby girl. At only 18 months she is working so hard every day to learn, learn, learn new things!
What are a few of your personal achievements? Visiting over 20 countries and hiking the “W” circuit in Patagonia
