Maternal-fetal medicine is as much art as it is science - every patient is a little bit different and needs to be considered individually. I don't shy away from hard conversations - the counseling that no one else wants to do. Part of the beauty of being a high-risk obstetrician is getting to partner with patients & families to achieve the best outcome. I am particularly passionate about cardio-obstetrics and co-direct our program at Allina Health through MPP and Minneapolis Heart Institute. I am a firm believer in reproductive choice and offer comprehensive pregnancy options to all of my patients facing complex pregnancy diagnoses.
