I am a family medicine physician with professional interests in patient education, preventive health, care for the whole family and the medical applications of behavioral economics. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

I have known I wanted to be a physician since: I was in sixth grade. Every experience since, from being a volunteer EMT in college to working as a lab tech in a family medicine clinic, reinforced my decision.
My personal health goal is: to move regularly, eat in moderation, and get at least 8 hours of sleep every night!
One challenge of this career that I enjoy is: treating behavioral health conditions, like depression and anxiety. These can be personal struggles, and I feel privileged to be one of the trusted few to whom an individual discloses their concerns. One of the most rewarding things is to see a person, previously crippled by depression or anxiety, return to a follow-up visit with a smile on their face, engaging with the world again!
The best advice I've ever received is: to take care of myself first. Since caring for others is my calling, I can struggle to prioritize my own health. I do my best to plan ahead and make time to prepare meals, exercise, and see my own doctor routinely.
