I am a licensed psychologist with professional interests in working with LGBTQ+ patients as well as patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders and trauma. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
I am passionate about: striving for equality and inclusion in health care settings as many of the patients I serve have structural barriers to high-quality care.
If I wasn't a provider, I would be a: financial planner, as it involves helping people identify what they value to move toward their goals.
I've learned from my patients that: while I bring expertise in mental health care, I have to partner with my patients as experts in their own care, history and health.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: that health care requires me to be a lifelong learner. This helps me be the best clinician possible for my patients.
The best thing I have done for my health is: to integrate intense exercise at least three days a week into my life to help me stay healthy, happy and energized.
I am most proud of: being a father.
