I am a family medicine provider with professional interests in women’s health, pediatrics and contraception. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions. I am accepting new patients.
I am passionate about: women’s health. I love educating women about health and empowering them to make decisions regarding their care.
Why I became a provider: I became a family medicine physician because I like the idea of caring for patients throughout their lives. It's rewarding to work with young women and help with their personal health goals and family planning. It's fun to care for them in their pregnancy and follow their kids as they grow. That is the best part of my job.
A challenge of this career that I enjoy: I enjoy the challenge of coming to work every day and not knowing what my patients will bring to the table. One day a patient will have a cough and sore throat, the next day the same patient may be in for a diabetes checkup. It's fun and challenging to be their doctor and to take care of their health questions and concerns.
My personal health goal is: I would like to improve my cooking skills - especially using more locally sourced and organic ingredients. I also would like to run all the certified "world marathons" - Chicago, New York, Boston, London, Tokyo and Berlin. I have completed Chicago and Boston but would love to add the others to my list.
The best health advice I received: My best health advice comes from my father. Whenever I complain about not wanting to go to the gym he will always say "You may regret things in life, but you will never regret doing a workout." This is usually enough to get me off the couch, even if it is just for a short workout.
