Aaron Bodling, DNP, FNP-C

I am a Team Care Provider (TCP) and help cover appointments, online messages and calls as an extension of your care team. I work with Corinne Benson, NP, Matthew Abeln, MD, Lawrence Callanan, MD, Emily Funk, MD and Joshua Lackner, MD, and am able to help when your primary care provider does not have availability. While patients are unable to establish regular care with me, I diagnose, treat and manage various health conditions, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and provide patient education and counseling, keeping your provider informed along the way. ​

Practice philosophy: The first and most important step is to listen to what people have to share.

What are you passionate about and why? I've cared for patients of all ages in settings from surgery to their homes and seeing people at so many stages of illness and recovery has made me passionate about ensuring patients feel seen and heard as humans with dignity and value.

If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Musical instrument repairman

What is something you have learned from your patients? My patients have taught me that being healthy might mean something different to everyone you meet.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? I enjoy helping people make and meet their own personal health goals because sharing that sense of accomplishment is so empowering and rewarding.

What is your personal health goal? To spend more time outdoors, and to get enough sleep each night.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? The best thing I've done for my overall health is to pay attention to my mental and emotional health and set aside the the time to work with a therapist.

What are you most proud of? My inspiring wife and our incredible daughters.
