Karin E. Evan, MD

Dr. Evan is a board-certified otolaryngologist who received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed residency training there as well. After training, she returned to her hometown of Minneapolis / St. Paul to join Ear, Nose & Throat Specialty Care of Minnesota.

Dr. Evan treats common otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) problems in both adults and children, including ear infections and hearing loss, nasal congestion, adenoid and tonsil disease, and throat disorders. Her area of expertise is in the medical and surgical treatment of sinus disease and chronic sinusitis; having trained under Dr. David Kennedy who pioneered endoscopic sinus surgery in the United States. She enjoys treating patients and educating them about their condition. Dr. Evan is on staff at Abbott Northwestern, Mercy Hospital, and Children’s Hospital and Clinics of MN.

Outside of work, Dr. Evan enjoys watching her teenage twins’ sporting events, walking her golden retriever, and spending time at her remote cabin in northern Minnesota.
