I am a board-certified family medicine physician with professional interests in pediatrics and women’s health, including reproductive health and contraceptive health with insertion of IUDs and Nexplanon. I enjoy helping patients through all stages of their lives. I provide care related to perimenopause and postmenopause as well as hormone replacement. I also provide pessary fitting for pelvic floor prolapse. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.
Best part of my work: Seeing my patients is the highlight of my day. I enjoy helping them succeed in maintaining or changing habits to better their health.
Why I became a physician: I remember having surgery as a child and being scared. As a child, no one thought to explain to me, the patient, what to expect. This experience inspired me to go into medicine to help patients of all ages understand an often confusing and scary situation.
What I tell friends and family: Be an active participant in your care. If you don't understand, ask questions.
How I spend my free time: I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy swimming, biking, cooking, crafting, CrossFit and spending time outdoors.
