Why I became an optometrist: I've always enjoyed science and helping people. I grew up with bad vision. Becoming an eye doctor seemed a natural fit.
What I tell my friends and family: Make sure your kids wear sunglasses.
How I spend my free time: I enjoy biking and playing and watching soccer with my kids. We enjoy traveling--England is our favorite so far.
What patients say about me: When patients are nervous about their eye problem or even the eye exam, they say I make them feel relaxed and comfortable.
Favorite health tip: Eat green, leafy vegetables.
