Best part of my work: I love the challenge of looking for things they may not have thought of that might make a difference, and then I try to come up with a plan that fits for that particular patient.
Why I became a provider: I was drawn to medicine because I love the combination of ongoing learning which can be put into immediate action in order to help somebody through a difficult time in their life.
What I tell friends and family: I'm constantly amazed at how much my work is a combination of being a detective, and then being MacGyver.
How I spend my free time: I love to spend time with my family on one of our many Minnesota lakes.
What patients say about me: I'm often told that people are comfortable talking to me, because I take the time to focus on what they are saying to me. The more I get to know about a patient's life, the better chance I have to really make a difference for them.
