Jacob Lynch, FNP-BC

I am a Team Care Provider (TCP) and help cover appointments, online messages and calls as an extension of your care team. I work with Dr. Leah Duvor, Dr. Travis Lockwood, Dr. Lizbet Ronning, and Dr. Nandita Ganne,​ and am able to help when your primary care provider does not have availability. While patients are unable to establish regular care with me, I diagnose, treat and manage various health conditions, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and provide patient education and counseling, keeping your provider informed along the way.

Practice philosophy: I am here to serve patients and their community. I want my patients to feel heard and understood. Health is more than just lab results and numbers, it is enjoying life and getting the most out of every day we have.

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I like spending time in clinic, working with and listening to patients. I like to work together to identify and solve health related obstacles to the life patients want to be living.

What is something you have learned from your patients? Trust is very important between a provider and patient.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Finding the right treatment plan for a complex problem that does not interfere with the patient's lifestyle.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? I enjoy bicycling, weight lifting, social time with friends, and walking my dogs. These things keep my body, mind, and spirit in tip top shape.

What are you most proud of? Helping a coworker and patient of mine to finally quit smoking! It was a long journey and we made it!
