Practice philosophy: My focus is to provide the best possible care to as many individuals as I can. I am a firm believer in Service Leadership and love to participate in community projects that increase the quality of life for all members of our community.
What are you passionate about and why? Being a Physical Chemist and working as a chemical engineer for a decade, I am passionate about technological advances in the field of medicine. Currently, I am working with generative AI to develop Large Language Models (LLMs) that increase the accuracy as well as rate of oncologic diagnoses.
If you weren't a health care provider, what would you be? Chemical engineer.
Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I worked on medical device development in my early engineering career. My interaction with patients and medical staff was immediately gratifying, and I knew this was my chosen profession.
What is something you have learned from your patients? That the human spirit is amazingly strong, and that we must learn to appreciate everything we have right now. And, never miss a day or opportunity to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you.
