I am a board-certified physician assistant specializing in adult gerontology. I have professional interests in preventative care and family medicine. I offer face-to-face virtual visits for a variety of health services and conditions.

Practice Philosophy: My goal is to provide exceptional, professional, and individualized care using compassion, patience, excellent communication, and knowledge.

What are you passionate about and why? Helping patients get well and stay well, in all aspects. Whether it be getting physically well after a hospital stay/new diagnosis, or mentally well after an emotional challenge/battle with addiction, I am passionate about helping patients get through obstacles. I love seeing others thrive!

Why did you become a provider? When did you know this was the career for you? I always wanted to be a nurse, a caregiver. My sister/hero is autistic, she has always been my inspiration. I love to learn and grow, so after becoming an RN, Nurse Practitioner was the perfect fit.

What is something you have learned from your patients? Listen. The patient always knows their body the best. If something is wrong, listen to their story and ideas. They are often headed the right way; they just need the directions.

What is one of the challenges of this career you enjoy? And why? Helping patients recover from addiction is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I enjoy being part of their recovery journey and am grateful they trust me to help them recover.

What is your personal health goal? To strive for the best version of myself - mentally and physically.

What is the best thing you've done for your health or the best health advice you've received? Eat well, drink enough water, exercise regularly, and take care of your mental health.

What are you most proud of? My husband and my kids- my husband is my forever supporter, and my kids are the best thing I’ve ever made. My family and friends - I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. My career - I am rewarded daily, and I love what I do.

What are a few of your personal achievements? I completed graduate school and my Nurse Practitioner program with a 4.0 GPA.
